South East London Blog is an independent culture and community lifestyle website sharing news, reviews and #SpotlightOn feature.

Editor in Chief – Rosanna started #SELondonBlog in 2016 as a natural step-up from @LoveHerneHill Twitter, Est. 2010, as it had grown from 1 to over 10k followers.  Born and bred south Londoner, Rosanna created this platform to celebrate local people and the community, London is a truly unique place, full of wonderful people, places and communities where the impossible does come true and chance meetings are what makes it extra special. Now well established, Rosanna continues to grow the content and is always keen to hear from people who have a story to tell both local to south east London and beyond.

Rosanna’s favourite south east London spots include The Horniman,  Beckenham Place Park, Southbank, Dulwich Woods, Greenwich Park, Crystal Palace Park and the markets of Deptford and Peckham.

Nick’s favourite SELondon spots are Dulwich Village, Sydenham Hill Wood. Beckenham Place Park and Crystal Palace Park.

Laurel Waldron, Books Contributor. A lifelong bookworm, Laurel adores nothing more than escaping into a good tome; from enthralling fiction to escapist travel literature and intriguing biographies, last year she managed 76 reads. Originally from Kent, she’s lived in London for over a decade though only recently made the move to South East after seven years in Clapham. Something of a jack of all trades, Laurel juggles a full time role in beauty PR with freelance food and travel writing for a number of lifestyle titles and has a portfolio of hobbies, from singing in London’s coolest choir (according to Time Out…) to amateur photography and making bespoke wedding dresses on the side.

Though lockdown has somewhat hindered her exploration, Laurel’s favourite local haunts so far include Crystal Palace’s Blackbird Bakery and Sydenham’s Kirkdale Bookshop and she can’t wait to delve into more of the local food and drink this year, as well as get back on stage with her beloved choir at Mighty Hoopla!
