Team Catford has announced the launch of House of Lewisham; a hyper- local online department store dedicated to our wonderful, south London borough. The launch comes two years to the day that they opened their first venture, Catford Cornucopia on Catford Broadway. Rosanna Head
Goods sold at House of Lewisham will celebrate neighbourhoods and communities across the borough with themed products including Brockley t-shirts, Deptford mugs, Catford hoodies and Bellingham sweatshirts.

Since lockdown began, millions of people have been forced to work from home, parents have been homeschooling and we have all been discouraged from travelling. Footfall in major cities has been falling as employees get used to the benefits of working from home – and more employers accept the need for flexibility. Without commuters flocking to the city centre, we are spending more and more time in our local communities and discovering the value of what’s on our doorstep. What better time to celebrate the distinct character of our home borough?
House of Lewisham will offer exclusive collaborations with local artists and makers that you won’t find anywhere else and will support good causes including Lewisham Foodbank, the Sickle Cell Society, the 999 Club and Store Evelyn.
Catford Cornucopia has changed its name to House of Catford in line with House of Lewisham. It’ll stock the same great products with a new name (perhaps less of a mouthful)! and will support Catford-specific initiatives including the Catford Fridge.
