We were recently invited to the newly opened Toomai Square in Greenwich. A family-run restaurant that brings bold pan-Asian cooking to the heart of the borough.

Service and Story
Set up by two brothers hailing from a small village in Northeast India, Toomai Square combines much-loved Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and Indonesian classics on one menu, with healthy options and bespoke cocktails to boot. The team at Toomai Square welcome customers in with a smile and are on hand to meet diners needs and with an in-house mixologist available to whip up a bespoke cocktail or two what’s not to like.
Eats
My partner and I were treated to a taster menu. We dined on a selection of starters that included Tempura Prawns, Thai Calamari, Chicken Lollipop and Pepper Chilli Lamb. For mains we enjoyed tastes of the chef’s specials; Lobster Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Chicken Laksa and the most memorable and delicious was the signature dish – Lamb Shank Massaman.
Toomai Square isn’t just a destination for top-notch Asian food thanks to their creative cocktail menu. Guests can enjoy Toomai twists on favourites, like the Toomai Martini with fresh ginger and lemongrass or the Lassi Pina Colada – a mix of coconut Lassi and rum. The wine list boasts labels for all budgets and a large selection of Japanese whiskies and well-known spirits makes the restaurant yet more appealing as a destination for pre-dinner drinks.
Looks
Toomai Square is an industrial-chic restaurant, a bright airy space that offers comfortable seating to enjoy a night out with friends and family.
